Returns,  Cancellation and Refunds Policy

Mountain Tech Support is committed to providing reliable products and services in line with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

All goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.

 

  1. Spare Parts (Goods)

You are entitled to a remedy if a product:

  • Is not of acceptable quality
  • Does not match its description
  • Is not fit for purpose
  • Has a major failure

 

Faulty or Incorrect Items

  • Contact us with proof of purchase and issue details
  • We will assess your claim promptly
  • If required, we will provide a repair, replacement, or refund
  • We cover reasonable return postage for confirmed faults

 

Change of Mind

We generally do not offer change-of-mind returns.

Where approved:

  • Item must be unused and unopened
  • Return within 21 days
  • Return postage is your responsibility
  • Up to 15% restocking fee may apply

Exclusions: Special-order, custom, electrical, or opened items.

 

Australian Consumer Law Notice

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

 

  1. Technical Support & Services

Our services are provided with due care and skill.

  • Minor issues will be resolved at no cost
  • Major issues may entitle you to cancel and receive a partial refund

 

  1. Repair & Replacement Notice
  • We supply and install replacement parts
  • We do not perform component-level or electrical repairs
  • Refurbished parts may be used with your consent

Data Responsibility

You are responsible for backing up your data before service.
We are not liable for data loss.

 

  1. Cancellations

Orders

  • Can be cancelled before dispatch
  • Special orders may not be cancellable

Services

  • Minimum 24 hours’ notice required
  • Late cancellations may incur a fee
